The Beauty of Blade Signs

A storefront is more than just the exterior of a business—it's a vital marketing tool that attracts customers and sets the tone for their experience. Whether it’s a cozy boutique, a chic café, or a trendy clothing store, a well-designed storefront serves as a visual invitation that reflects the identity of the business. While most companies think to put their main sign above the door or on the building, they sometimes limit themselves by not considering all possibilities. One often overlooked yet incredibly effective option is the blade sign. Blade signs are mounted perpendicular to a building’s facade and extend out from the storefront, making them highly visible to pedestrians and drivers alike. Their unique positioning allows them to be seen from a distance and from multiple angles, making them an excellent choice for businesses in busy, high-traffic areas. We had the pleasure of working with Café de Madrid, located in downtown Oakville, to help get their storefront ready and make sure they could advertise while perfecting the inside. With their niche business and beautifully crafted tile front, we wanted to ensure that the exterior design matched the beauty of their vision, while maximizing visibility for the bustling nights in downtown Oakville. Not only did we provide the blade sign to showcase their stunning logo, but we also custom-painted the lettering for their main sign, giving it the perfect "Coco Vibes" that fits their atmosphere. The beauty of working with a business that knows the area well is that the excitement for the opening is contagious. The team at Signarama Oakville cannot wait to try this spot!
